Activision has taken a stance in the newest iteration of Call of Duty to try to keep the community together in terms of the free content. In May of 2019, it announced that the next Call of Duty would forgo a season pass and have cross-platform functionality. So maps and most multiplayer game modes are available for everyone to play together for free, regardless of platform. The new guns, which become available in each new season, are also free. However, they need to be unlocked.

Unlock the Striker 45 for Free
Season 2 comes with a brand new Battle Pass, which can be purchased for 1000 CP. The Battle Pass has tons of premium content, however, there are also free unlocks. Thankfully, that’s where the new weapons are found. Players can progress through the Battle Pass, regardless of whether or not they’ve purchased it, and unlock any of the FREE items on the Battle Pass.
The Striker 45 can be found on Tier 31 of the Battle Pass.
Ranking up in the Battle Pass is accomplished by playing the game, earning XP, and completing challenges. There are absolutely ways to level up as fast as possible, and these include taking advantage of trails, jumping online during double-XP periods, and playing modes like Ground War.
Unlocking the Striker 45 Faster (for some extra CP)
Along with the free options of grinding through the free or paid Battle Pass, players can snag the Striker 45 a bit faster using some of that hard-earned CP.
Firstly, the paid Battle Pass is 1000 CP. The paid Battle Pass comes with a few instant rewards, two operators, one watch, and a Season 2 XP Boost. This boost will help players unlock the Striker 45 much quicker.
Additionally, there are Double XP tokens to unlock on the paid Battle Pass at 7, 22, and 29. Using these tokens will give a nice boost during play, and again should help unlock the Striker 45 as fast as possible to help compete against other powerful weapons in the game.
Lastly, along with the standard 1000 CP Battle Pass purchase, players are able to purchase the Battle Pass Bundle for 2400 CP. This bundle skips 20 tiers right off the bat, meaning that the coveted Striker 45 is only 11 tiers away.
Whether fans choose to go the free route, or toss in some CP, Season 2 seems to have quite a lot of content. Unlocking weapons for free is something that fans seem to enjoy, as opposed to being forced to fork up cash, and therefore being at a disadvantage to players who are able to spend the extra money.
Along with all of the massive content that’s already been officially revealed for Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the long-awaited battle royale mode seems to have been officially teased and players can see this when they boot up the game. Subsequently, with this new tease, massive fresh leaks have come forth that point to the battle royale being more than many had even anticipated.
