Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta come with some very strong super moves, which makes them excellent partners for any team. To add them as playable characters in Dragon Ball FighterZ, there are two ways to go about it. The easiest option is to pre-order the game before it releases on January 26 or buy the “Day One” edition. Both options provide a code that will unlock both characters from the get-go.
The second option is to earn them. For Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, players will need to either accumulate 300,000 Zenny or complete the Extreme Gravity Spaceship Course on hard difficulty with an A-Rank. As for Super Saiyan Blue Goku, he requires either 500,000 Zenny or an A-Rank on the Hyperbolic Time Chamber Course on hard difficulty. The easiest of the two is the Zenny route, and a couple hundred thousand can be earned simply by finishing the game’s story mode. After that, completing combat tutorials and character trials will also net some dough.
As for Android 21, she can be unlocked by finishing the game’s story mode. She was revealed a few months back and will be an original character created for the game. Android 21 will play an important role in the story, which involves the return of the gentle giant, Android 16. It will take around 15-20 hours to complete the story mode for a standard run through, but that time can be slashed significantly if players skip cutscenes and rush to the boss of each map.
With the release of Dragon Ball FighterZ close at hand, the last couple of weeks have been loaded with information on the game. Bandai Namco and Arc System Works released three new trailers for Beerus, Goku Black, and Hit, as well as confirmed a playable Majin version of Android 21. The limited time beta opened last week, but was hit with severe server issues and got an extension. Lastly, it was revealed that Dragon Ball FighterZ will include loot boxes. With the recent controversies surrounding loot boxes, this isn’t a welcomed addition for everyone. Luckily, it was confirmed that they will only include cosmetic items, which should come as a relief to worried gamers.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch on January 26 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
