Can You Watch Peacock TV on Fire Stick?
You can watch Peacock TV on all Fire TV Stick devices. In the past, the recommended way to access Peacock was to use the procedure for sideloading apps on your Fire TV.
Peacock TV is now available to download following the typical process for downloading apps to Fire TV via the Appstore.
How Do I Download Peacock TV on Fire Stick?
Select Find from the Fire TV menu > Search > and enter Peacock in the search bar. Alternatively, choose Find > Appstore to search for the Peacock TV app. Open the search result and select the Get button to download Peacock TV. Once the app downloads and installs, press the Play button to open it. You can also use the Menu button (three horizontal lines) to launch the app after installing it.
How Do I Update My Peacock on My Fire Stick?
Once you’ve downloaded Peacock, you can choose to enable automatic updates or manually update the app on your Fire Stick.
Enable Automatic App Updates
When you turn on this setting, it will also apply to all other apps on your Fire TV Stick.
Select Settings (gear icon) on the far right side of the menu and then choose Applications. From the Applications page, select Appstore. Select Automatic Updates to turn on this feature. If you have it enabled already, On appears under Automatic Updates. To update sideloaded apps on Fire Stick, install a third-party app. Then turn on ADB Debugging and permission for Apps from Unknown Sources from Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options.
Manually Update Peacock TV on Fire TV
If you prefer to monitor app updates, use the manual update option.
Navigate to Settings > Applications > Appstore. Select Automatic Updates to turn it from On to Off. Select the Apps icon in the menu bar to find the Peacock app when you’d like to check for an update. You might also find the app under Home > Recently Used Apps. Highlight the app, press the Menu button (with three horizontal lines) on your Fire TV remote, and select More info. If an update is available, Update also appears in the list of options that display on-screen when you press the Menu button on your remote. If the app is up to date, a Play icon appears. If an update is ready, select Update to get the newest version of the app.
