The Starting Bag
Inventory space is very low and at a premium in the beginning of the game. Whether players are playing the original Harvest Moon version or the new Story of Seasons version of Friends of Harvest Town, they’ll notice that their starting bag leaves only a few spaces to hold items. So it’s very important to grab that upgrade as soon as possible.

Where to Buy
Players can purchase two bag upgrades in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. Both of these can be found at the general store, which is located in the top-right corner of the town’s map. They sell a selection of products from in-season seeds to the all-important bag upgrades, and it’s important to note that the store is closed on both Tuesdays and Sundays and open 9am to 5pm every other day of the week.
Bag Upgrade Stats
The first inventory boost is called the Basic Bag. Players can purchase this upgrade for 3000 gold. While this sum is pretty high, especially early game, it’s definitely worth the investment. It’s a shame that the bags are still the same price as they were in the original game; this would have been one welcome difference between the new version and old version of Friends of Mineral Town.
The Basic Bag will give players 16 slots for items and 8 for tools, which is significantly more than players will have at the start. This will make raking in the dough a little easier, which is good, because the next upgrade is even more expensive. Maybe a little help from the Harvest Goddess will help them with the gold they need.
The second and final bag upgrade is the Big Bag, which goes for an astounding 5000 gold. Players with the Big Bag will have 24 inventory slots and 12 tools slots. Now players will be able to hold all their tools, like the fishing rod, all at once as well as a plethora of seeds. Being able to carry this much stuff will save players a lot of time, allowing them to speed through the rest of the game with a lot more ease.
Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is available for PC and the Nintendo Switch.
