When used correctly, it can help reduce the anxiety that comes with interviewing for jobs. Regardless of the field you’re in or the role you’re applying for, the tool coaches you by giving you insights into your responses to help you sharpen your interview skills.

How to Use Interview Warmup
Interview Warmup asks you a series of interview questions relevant to your field of work. These include background, situational, and technical questions. Start by going to the Interview Warmup website in your browser, then follow the steps below.
Click on Start practicing at the bottom of the screen. Choose your Field of work from the list, then click Start on the next page. The tool will now ask you five questions, which you can answer by typing or speaking out loud. Click on Answer to use your laptop’s microphone, or the Keyboard icon to type your response. After providing your answer, click the blue Check button in the bottom-left corner. The tool will analyze your answer and give you feedback based on three categories. Click on Job-related terms and then the highlighted words in your response for guidance on how to use them. You can also click on See all terms to view a comprehensive list of the words often used in your field, which you can also use in your interviews. Click on Most-used words to see the phrases you’ve used at least three times in your answer. For Talking points, click on each one to see if you covered it in your response. (Tip: the ones you covered will be highlighted in white. ) You can also click on See examples to get guidance on how to incorporate each talking point into your answer. After you’re done, click on Redo to attempt the question again, or the Pencil icon to edit your response based on your insights. Click the Arrow in the bottom-right corner to move on to the next question, and repeat this process until you’re done practicing. When you’re finished, you can Practice again or Save your answers by copying and pasting them into a document or printing them. You can also scroll down and go through your insights again.
The website gives you a different set of questions each time you use it, so it would benefit you to practice often. This helps you to familiarize yourself with a variety of questions in your field.
